Content & Copy Manager – DACH

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded Content & Copy Manager – DACH to strengthen the relevance, quality, and discoverability of Reolink’s consumer-facing content across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This role will own the local content and messaging approach across the DACH region, translating global brand and product direction into clear, compelling, and locally relevant communication across campaigns, websites, product pages, social media, retail, CRM, PR, and other marketing touchpoints.

SEO and AI-driven search are integral parts of the role, ensuring Reolink content is both relevant for consumers and discoverable across traditional and emerging search experiences. The role will combine strong editorial judgment with search and content performance insights.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing DACH, local and global marketing teams, the ideal candidate combines excellent German writing and storytelling skills with strategic content thinking, SEO expertise, strong consumer understanding, and a data-informed approach to continuously improving content effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own Reolink’s content, messaging, and editorial approach across the DACH region, aligned with global brand direction and regional business priorities.
• Translate global campaigns, product launches, value propositions, and brand initiatives into clear, compelling, and locally relevant German-language communication.
• Create, edit, and optimize high-quality copy and content across websites, product pages, campaigns, social media, CRM, retail/POS, PR, partnerships, and other marketing touchpoints.
• Own local content quality and consistency, including tone of voice, terminology, transcreation, and final consumer-facing language standards across DACH marketing.
• Develop and execute the DACH SEO content strategy, including keyword and topic research, search-intent analysis, content planning, on-page optimization, internal linking, and continuous content improvement.
• Strengthen Reolink’s discoverability across traditional and AI-driven search by developing authoritative, well-structured, and useful content with clear product, brand, and category context, while continuously testing and learning from emerging search behaviors, platforms, and performance signals.
• Provide local content and search direction, market context, and clear briefs to HQ-based and other supporting resources, while leveraging existing global expertise and capabilities effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Creative, Social/Creator, PR, Sales/Retail, Product, and other marketing functions to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution.
• Define relevant content and search KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously optimize content based on search visibility, engagement, conversion signals, consumer feedback, and business priorities.
• Use AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve research, ideation, drafting, optimization, localization, and content efficiency while maintaining strong human editorial judgment, factual accuracy, and brand standards.

What you bring to the team

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in content marketing, copywriting, SEO, editorial, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent German writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex product and technology topics into clear and compelling consumer communication.
• Proven experience developing content strategies and messaging frameworks, not only executing individual copy requests.
• Strong hands-on SEO knowledge, including keyword and topic research, search intent, on-page optimization, internal linking, content briefs, and performance analysis.
• Good understanding of how search behavior is evolving through AI-driven search, answer engines, and large language models, with curiosity and practical experience in improving content discoverability across these environments.
• Strong understanding of DACH consumers, language nuances, cultural context, and digital content behavior.
• Analytical and commercially minded, with experience using SEO, website, and content performance data to prioritize and improve marketing activities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across local and global teams and provide clear direction to supporting resources.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-reliant, proactive, and hands-on approach to work.
• Native-level German and proficient English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in consumer electronics, technology, e-commerce, smart home, or another fast-moving consumer category is an advantage.
• Confident use of AI tools to improve content quality, research, speed, and effectiveness while maintaining strong human judgment, factual accuracy, and brand standards.
