Job Description

• Review all content to be compliant with standards specified by our Style Guide, Authoring Guidelines, and Cox Brand Guidelines. 
• Proofread content for accuracy and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and layout of all authored content. 
• Ensure content has correct tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure of content. 
• Compile and update Style Guide as required. 
• Collaborate with team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping audience in mind. 
• Stay abreast of latest media trends and content best practices. 
• Conduct training as needed. 
• Track and report on common errors and trending. 
• Compile monthly metrics to share with leadership. 
• Provide feedback and coaching to authors. 

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Technical writing experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to leverage into positive knowledge and skills for growth and development.
• The ability to effectively communicate with peers and boundary partners that support our business.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
