The World Economic Forum is an independent, not-for-profit organization, headquartered in Geneva, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Beijing, and Tokyo.

We are the trusted platform for public-private cooperation where leaders come together to understand global challenges and drive action across sectors and regions. We create spaces where different stakeholders engage openly, build trust, and collaborate to help solve shared global challenges.

Context and why we are recruiting?

Strategic Intelligence helps leaders make sense of a complex and interconnected world by mapping the forces shaping global, regional and industry agendas, and by convening multistakeholder perspectives on the future. Strategic Foresight leverages structured methodologies, facilitation and foresight expert engagement to integrate long-term thinking into reports, workshops, strategic planning, partner engagement and flagship initiatives. Working in close collaboration, the Intelligence and Foresight cluster develops tools, reports and platforms that translate complexity into actionable insight for the Forum's communities.

We are looking for a Content and Communications Lead to join the Intelligence and Foresight cluster. The successful candidate will manage the outline, knowledge inputs, editing and delivery timeline for a report on multistakeholder narratives about the future, and develop other content products related to Strategic Intelligence and Foresight. The role also provides broader support to the Strategic Intelligence and Foresight teams in their engagement with Forum teams and external partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a versatile editorial and communications professional who enjoys working across content formats, managing complex projects with multiple contributors, and translating technical or research-heavy material into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

Reporting line and how is this role embedded in the wider team?

This role sits at the intersection of editorial production, project management and strategic communications. The position reports to the Head of Digital Strategy & Growth within the Technology and Digital Innovation Group.

  • Coordinate the editorial calendar, contributor inputs, review cycles and production timeline, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery

  • Edit and shape content for tone, clarity, narrative coherence and consistency with Forum style and standards

  • Liaise with design and other internal teams to manage the report's production and publication

  • Contribute to the development, editing and delivery of a range of other content products (e.g. articles, briefs, explainers, transcripts, video/audio scripts, social content) related to Strategic Intelligence and Foresight

  • Contribute to the development, editing and dissemination of communications content and dynamic explainers and onboarding materials that promote and explain the Forum's work on Strategic Intelligence and Foresight to internal and external audiences

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of communications strategies (digital, social, internal channels, press materials as relevant) in coordination with the Forum's broader communications and digital teams

  • Support the Strategic Intelligence and Foresight teams in their engagement with Forum teams, external partners and other stakeholders, including preparing Transformation Map texts
