Job Description:Content Development Analyst

Reports to: Manager, Content Development

Span of control: NA

Location: Barcelona 

You Will

• Partner with different Dow Jones teams, the content publishers and our data conversion partner to ensure a smooth ingestion of new content onto Factiva

• Evaluate data formats and delivery methods for potential content publishers/providers to ensure they meet Dow Jones technical requirements

• Define tag-mapping rules to allow our data conversion partner to create the required processing program to normalize the publishers’ format

• Manage the testing process with other Content teams, by reviewing articles in a test environment to ensure all technical requirements are met

• Manage special projects such as high-profile content sets or more complex delivery methods

• Handle multiple high priority tasks and work in collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure task completion

• Support R&C with translation services as and when required

• Write due diligence reports on companies and/or individuals as required and contribute to other projects

You Have 

• Fluency in English

• A reliable and responsible attitude

• Knowledge of the main data formats such as XML, HTML, NewsML

• Project management skills and experience

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills

• An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity

 Preferred

• Content or product testing experience

• Additional language skills
