We are currently on the hunt for a Container Repairer to operate out of our Transam Depot site in Panmure, Auckland.
Job DescriptionThis fast-paced role is ideal for individuals who can work hard and like to get stuck in! If you have welding, steel cutting, painting and light fabrication experience, or have just recently completed a welding certificate, then this could be your opportunity to start a new career in the shipping container industry.
QualificationsAs a crucial member of our team, you will bring the following:
- A keen attention to detail to ensure that all repairs are conducted with the utmost accuracy
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills to meet (and exceed) depot timeframes
- The ability to prioritise your workload
You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to attendance. While prior experience in container repairs would be a strong advantage, we are also open to training the right person for the role.
You will also have the ability to pass Ministry of Justice, ACC checks and a drug and alcohol test as part of our recruitment process. Hours of Work:
This role is based in our Panmure location with a minimum of 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00am – 5.00pm. Flexibility to work overtime to meet operational requirements will be required. Rostered Saturdays 7.00am – 12.00pm. Great overtime rates (time and a half) offered!
