We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Promotional Compliance Manager to join Norgine.

The person holding this position will report to the Regional Head of Consumer Healthcare, and be a member of the global Consumer Healthcare team.

The core responsibility of the Consumer Promotional Compliance Manager is to generate innovative medical insights that translate into the promotion of our CHC product portfolio whilst ensuring their appropriate use, to improve the health and the well-being of our consumers by finding healthcare solutions and services utilizing the highest ethical and compliance standards. This is a regional position supporting a group of countries and reporting directly to the CHC Regional Head with a dotted line to Global Regulatory Affairs Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Review and approve promotional and non-promotional consumer materials and activities to ensure compliance with relevant local requirements including codes of practice, as well as with other relevant regulations and company policies. This could include advertising, digital, Consumer Point of Sale, Healthcare Professional Detailing materials and packaging materials.

Act as a subject matter expert on consumer content governance, copy approval, and local requirements, providing support, guidance and approval.

Provide examination and approval of materials and activities for allocated territories including oversight of affiliate level agencies providing this service as needed.

Support the development and delivery of capability programmes for content owners to ensure a thorough understanding of the local requirements and its practical and consistent application.

Collaborate with key stakeholders including global and local marketing, digital, commercial/trade Legal and Compliance colleagues to proactively identify and mitigate potential opportunities and risks

Lead communication and submissions with external agencies to ensure compliance and approval in line with the local and regional regulatory and compliance requirements.

Own and manage any regional budgets required to support the regional medical and regulatory workload in conjunction with the Regional Commercial Manager

Where required identify, contract and manage external third party experts to support submissions or switches within agreed timelines and budgets

Own and support the response to/resolution of challenges or complaints to consumer materials or activities.

Identify issues, themes and/or opportunities for continuous improvement that enhance the quality and compliance of materials and activities.

Maintain a robust understanding of, and stay up-to-date with changes to local requirements and other regulatory guidelines, and communicate these updates to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

CAPABILITIES

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and therapeutic areas.
  • Demonstrate skills of effective communication including assertiveness, matrix leadership, cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced organizations.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and the ability to manage conflict or differences of opinion.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in Consumer Healthcare (OTC products and/or Medical Devices)
  • Medical degree desirable; Scientific/health related degree (i.e. PhD) acceptable if supported by good experience
  • A keen understanding of drug development and commercialization and the OTC/medical device regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining a KOL network
  • Experience in working across and building effective partnerships between business, Medical, and Regulatory
  • Good understanding of the consumer health care pharmaceutical business.
  • Experience working in compliance with consumer healthcare advertising codes.
  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools used for content approval and compliance.
