We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead go to market efforts for CarGurus' consumer products. You will partner closely with our Product team to influence the product roadmap, launch new products & features, and ensure their ongoing success.. You are the expert on our consumers turning insights into actionable strategies. Additionally, you'll partner closely with our Performance team to drive performance improvements across our site, email and paid marketing channels through creative and messaging optimization. The ideal candidate is able to balance big picture strategy with detailed execution, while making it their mission to ensure that customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do.
What you'll do:

  • Partner with Product and Commercial across the entire product lifecycle to: help shape the product roadmap, develop and execute GTM strategies, and leverage insights to strategically drive product success.
  • Drive customer research (including NPS) to develop a deep understanding of our customers and products. Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs on our product roadmap and with all internal teams.
  • Influence action and stakeholder understanding through compelling storytelling that uses data visualization and packaging to show the "why" behind the recommendations.
  • Lead, develop and continually validate product positioning and messaging.
  • Develop creative for digital marketing campaigns and partner with the Performance Marketing team to continually improve customer acquisition efficiency.
  • Optimize product landing pages for conversion and results.


What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-8 years of experience with 4+ in product marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are a strong storyteller with a knack for creating compelling content that will drive results.
  • Excellent copywriting and creative judgment to ensure that all marketing communications are clear, concise, compelling, and drive results.
  • Excellent project management and relationship skills. Ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies and decision-making.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic; efficient, creative and resourceful in identifying solutions to our biggest challenges.
