In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.

Cochlear DTC marketing community in developing, scaling, and executing consumer marketing initiatives worldwide. As a key people leader, the ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication skills, strong prioritization capabilities, and proven analytical and problem-solving expertise. They should be independent, results-driven, and equipped with extensive hands-on marketing experience, alongside the ability to inspire and motivate others to take action. Additionally, the candidate must excel at simplifying complex information into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning, Business Development and Execution

  • The key focus of this position will be to support utilization of measurable strategies and initiatives that increase demand and ensure consistency across geographies.
  • Translate DTC objectives into clear marketing strategies and enable implementation across different regions globally. Identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships that will translate globally and drive demand for implantable hearing solutions and install candidate confidence that ultimately lead to surgical conversions.
  • Facilitate forums to build, develop and scale campaigns with valued content that generate awareness and new demand among targeted audiences of consumers, loved ones and the public.
  • Align with key stakeholders to prioritize projects that ensure shared business goals are met within resource and budget allocations. These activities need to meaningfully contribute in the delivery of double digit growth to the overall business objectives of the region.
  • A passion for excellence in DTC Marketing to develop innovative strategies that differentiate the brand from competitors. Develop a deep understanding of the target audience and their needs. Work with cross-functional teams to enable implementation and drive demand. Scale and commercialize the Lead Market Model and communicate effectiveness.

Collaboration with an Enterprise Focus

  • This role is highly cross-functional liaising with other functions across the organization both regionally and globally. As the Cochlear America’s region will be the lead market for strategic and operational DTC initiatives, an enterprise mindset is essential to deliver the right outcomes for the global organization, acting to remove boundaries.  It is essential to work in close partnership to ensure DTC is well positioned to deliver world class marketing capabilities, innovative delivery, and streamlined processes across the business with clear prioritization.
  • Ongoing close collaboration with key stakeholders across senior management levels is critical in delivering impactful business contribution, proving commercial concepts, testing new audiences and developing new channel strategies. Therefore, this role needs to be a valued and trusted partner with regional and global leaders to effectively plan and support strategies.
  • A key focus of the role will be to collaborate with key partners to scale campaigns across regions and countries and assist in the adaptation of marketing strategies to local needs and candidate behaviours, while maintaining brand consistency across different markets. Understand target markets and consumer personas. Establish two-way process for scaling and accountability. Leverage technology to scale marketing efforts. Flexibility in hours (potential for early morning and evening calls) and ability to travel (up to 10%) including nights and weekends.

Customer Insights and Analysis

  • This role will use relevant market analysis, research, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to ensure the business is in the best position to act and grow the market.
  • Demonstrate understanding of data analytics and be able to use data visualization to present insights in a clear, concise manner and work cross-functionally to develop data-driven strategies that align with business goals and objectives. Collect and analyse data from various sources. Use data visualization tools to present insights. Develop data-driven strategies that align with business goals and objectives. Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies. Identify future-focused opportunities based on insights.
     

Key Requirements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns. Experience in analytics reporting and working in collaborative work environments
  • Market Development: Develops and executes detailed market development plans, including identifying and targeting new segments or regions, increasing referrals, and driving demand to increase market share.
  • Customer Experience Design: Designs and manages customer experience projects and campaigns, experimenting with AI-driven analysis of customer feedback and journey mapping to enhance strategies that improve satisfaction and engagement.
  • Content Strategy Development: Develops a cohesive content strategy that is integrated across audiences (4Ps), includes a variety of content types and channels, aligning with audience needs and business objectives, while integrating storytelling.
  • Content Governance: Produces a wide range of high-quality content including, briefing agencies, applying strong emphasis on copywriting, reviews and approvals, while leveraging content management systems, data analytics, AI, and personalization tools.
  • Content Delivery: Executes content distribution strategies by managing agencies, utilizing data-driven insights from analytics platforms, conducting testing, and applying audience segmentation to maximize performance and reach.
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Creates and manages omnichannel campaigns that integrate various marketing tactics and touchpoints, effectively coordinating cross-functional efforts to achieve strategic objectives and optimize performance.
  • Channel Management: Optimizes multiple marketing channels through strategic planning, performance analysis, and iterative adjustments to enhance reach and effectiveness.
  • Content Personalization: Implements marketing strategies to deliver more personalized and relevant content, by utilizing detailed customer data and behavioral insights, incorporating testing and leveraging customer technology platforms.
  • Data Management: Integrates and manages diverse marketing data sources, utilizing visualization tools to create insightful and comprehendible dashboards, and implementing data quality checks to support more sophisticated analysis and strategic decisions.
  • Marketing Performance Management: Tracks and analyses a broad set of marketing KPIs, using advanced analytical techniques to assess campaign effectiveness, identify trends and recommend targeted optimization, presenting back in a digestible format.

  • Customer Journey Mapping: Creates micro-journeys relevant to specific moments that matter, relevant to their role, while providing inputs into enterprise-level holistic journey mapping exercises.
  • User Personas: Provides input and / or assists in gathering customer data and supporting the development of basic customer segments and personas.
  • Marketing Insights: Gathers and summarizes fundamental market and competitor data from available sources and vendors, providing general insights into industry / technology trends and competitive landscape within the MedTech sector.
  • Collaboration: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Curiosity: Explore new trends, ask insightful questions, and seek out fresh ideas
  • Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives that connect with audiences on an emotional level

  • Pay Range in the United States: $107,000 - $115,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
  • Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance as well as 401(K) matching with immediate vesting, Paid Time Off, tuition reimbursement, maternity and paternity leave, Employee Stock Purchase Plan and pet insurance.
