Step into a pivotal leadership role as Executive Director, Head of Lease Residual Value Risk Management at Chase Auto's Private Label Captive Finance team. Drive strategy, analytics, and risk management for a dynamic auto lease portfolio, leading a high-performing team to deliver innovative solutions, optimize residual value, and shape the future of our private label lease business in partnership with senior leadership and OEM stakeholders.
As an Executive Director within the Private Label Captive Finance (PLCF) team, you will lead the strategy, analytics, and risk management for a growing auto lease portfolio. In this pivotal leadership role, you will guide a team of finance professionals, driving innovative analysis and risk management to optimize residual value performance and support business growth. As the Head of Lease Residual Value Risk Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a key partner to senior leadership, shaping the future of Chase Auto's private label lease business.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Lease Residual Value Risk Management team.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize auto lease portfolio growth, residual value management, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely monthly and quarterly financial reports related to the lease program both internally and externally
  • Drive comprehensive residual value risk analysis, leveraging advanced analytical tools and techniques to assess financial impacts and support risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams; including sales, underwriting, product, and manufacturer partners; to gather data, share insights, and support business decisions.
  • Engage directly with OEM stakeholders, supporting the residual value process and ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast residual values, and assess risk exposure for new and existing partners.
  • Monitor market trends and economic factors impacting residual values and lease program performance; provide actionable recommendations to senior management and OEMs
  • Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes, data accuracy, and analytical efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to financial reporting and risk management.
    Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Required Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in auto finance, leasing, risk management, or related fields
  • Proven experience in strategy development, portfolio analytics, and risk management
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, including experience with forecasting and risk assessment
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills with demonstrated ability to produce senior management and client-facing presentations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Database management, data manipulation and visualization experience (SAS, SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau or similar tools)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proven leader with the ability to drive results on large-scale deliverables and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate to leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written

Preferred Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Auto finance industry experience
