Jobbeschreibung:

SUMMARY: 

This role is responsible for selling mainly consumables but also service and parts to new and existing customers within a defined region through frequent travel to customer sites, reviewing customer operating requirements and assisting in the development of solutions for common customer concerns or opportunities, while partnering with Regional Sales leaders, internal sales, engineering, product management, and service teams. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Aftermarket sales is focused on driving growth of consumables (cloth, powder) and spare parts, and other products as determined by the business to support growth of Baldwin in the assigned region.
  • Partner with accounts to identify current and future customer needs; cultivate and maintain working relationships to develop sales leads
  • Identify new market, product, and adjacent service opportunities; develop and create organizational support of viable programs for entry
  • Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests; demonstrate company’s product capability by preparing and conducting sales presentations
  • Negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts; close orders to meet sales budgets and quotas
  • Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met
  • Maintain and establish new OEM relationship
  • Maintain and establish new channels for distributing our products, i.e., local agents or distributers
  • Coordinate efforts to maintain the SalesForce CRM system to reflect accurate sales activity, key contacts, account management and opportunity pipeline.
  • Conduct educational seminars at distributers on our products
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation seminars; work with field service personnel to resolve any installation problems
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace; determine value management/positioning of company product in the market and competitive differentiation
  • Other ad hoc project as required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Graphic/Printing industry
  • Ability to proficiently write and speak German and English fluently
  • The ability to execute strategies focused on organizational growth.
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% mainly within Europe

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: 

  • Experience in Baldwin Product
  • Field experience within graphic industry
  • University degree for media and printing technology
  • Experience working in a matrix organization

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer 
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly 
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently 
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards 
  • Travel by air or car
