Sante is seeking a Consulting Psychiatrist to provide clinical oversight and supervision to the prescribing staff for the First Episode P0sychosis Program (FEP).
What You Will Do:
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of nurse practitioners who provide direct care to FEP participants
- Case review and Consultation
- Collaboration with program director
- Review of documentation by prescribing staff
- Support continuous quality improvement and fidelity to Coordinated Specialty Care principles
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with all company/agency, state, federal, Medicaid, and accreditation standards.
- Check work e-mail according to agency protocol
- Participate in and complete all required training courses
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Clinical supervision of prescribing staff as well as fidelity to model.
What Is Needed:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD); Board Certified in Psychiatry and active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
- Expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology.
- Experience evaluating and treating serious mental illness. Experience treating first episode psychosis preferred.
What You’ll Get:
- Pay: $140.00 per hour working 10 to 15 hours per month
