Compensation: This position is compensated at a flat rate of $400 per in-person pharmacy review, conducted quarterly.
Consulting Pharmacist provides quarterly operational, non clinical oversight of policies and procedures related to medications at the center, including, if needed, the development and review of those written policies and procedures. Conducts reviews of medication storage and safety, proper medication administration, and completes a quarterly report on the status of medication related services. Pharmacist may occasionally communicate directly with participants, pharmacies, PCPs, and center staff on matters related to an individual participant’s medication therapy. 2 to 3 hours quarterly.

Skills Required
- Active pharmacist license
- Conduct in-person pharmacy reviews quarterly
- Knowledge of medication storage, safety, and administration policies
- Ability to develop and review written medication policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate with participants, pharmacies, PCPs, and center staff about medication therapy
- Availability for 2 to 3 hours quarterly for on-site reviews
- Familiarity with Title 22 78319(l) regulations
