Diversey Consulting is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth across the DACH region.
This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise in food safety with commercial leadership. You’ll work closely with major food organizations, helping them design and implement world-class solutions—while driving revenue, partnerships, and market expansion.

🎯 What you’ll be responsible for
- Drive business growth across the DACH region, owning pipeline, revenue and results
- Develop and execute a commercial strategy to expand Diversey Consulting’s footprint
- Identify and build strategic partnerships within the food industry
- Lead consultative sales processes, from needs assessment to solution design and closing
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients (Quality, Operations, Food Safety leaders)
- Own regional P&L performance and business outcomes
- Coordinate and manage delivery teams (consultants, partners, laboratories, etc.)
- Ensure successful execution of client projects
👤 What we’re looking for
✅ Must-have:
- University degree in Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Veterinary Sciences or similar
- Strong technical understanding of food safety and operations
- Fluency in German and English

- Experience in business development, sales, or consultative roles
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate expertise into business opportunities
- Ability to assess client needs and propose tailored, value-driven solutions
- Natural relationship builder with strong communication skills
