ERM is seeking a Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Consulting Associate or Senior Associate to join ERM Taiwan. In this role, you will work closely with other consultants on climate change and sustainability related topics. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the manager on the delivery of a wide range of climate change and sustainability projects in Taiwan and in Asia Pacific
- Act as a consultant and contribute to climate change and sustainability projects under direction from Line Manager or Partners
- Perform tasks within scope / budget / schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
- Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, ERM employees, and subcontractors
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification in Climate Change, Economics, Biology, or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of work experience in environmental consultancy, industry or environment focused non-governmental organisations is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of Climate Change Science, Energy Transition / Decarbonisation, Corporate Sustainability, Climate Risk Assessment, Sustainable Finance and Nature Positive is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking and report writing skills. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese is essential. Fluency in written and spoken English is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team is essential.
- Strong skills with MS Office applications.
- A good grasp of any of the following would be an advantage: renewable energy/power sector, sustainable supply chain, financial and macroeconomic analysis, ESG raters and rankers.
