As an Electrical Engineer III, you’ll manage complex projects that directly impact operations. You’ll apply your expertise to design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and drive innovation. Responsibilities/Expectations: - Works on the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities - Promotes the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs - Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability - Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities - Participates in complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints - Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution - Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs - Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and (4) four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry • Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university Job Requirements: • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure • Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)  • Preferred: Experience with PLCs  • Preferred: Project Management experience  • Preferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects • Preferred: Supports the designing and implantation of Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems Additional Job Description --- Power Innovation: Additional Requirements • Knowledge in power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink or similar tools) • Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear • Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems • Experience in supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers • Preferred: Experience with participation of the commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited college or university with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry
  • Minimum four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a primary priority
  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes and standards (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)
  • Knowledge of power system design, analysis, and simulation tools (ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD, Simulink)
  • Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear
  • Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing mitigation improvements
  • Experience supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with vendor sourcing experience
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (preferred if not already required by degree/experience path)
  • Experience with PLCs and HMI systems
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC of small to medium facility projects
  • Experience participating in commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment
