We are looking for Consultants to support client work and business development in our London office.
You will be at the heart of everything we do at Flint, supporting clients on policy, politics, regulation, and commercial strategy. Flint’s clients want to understand, in detail, how they can build a long-term strategy to thrive commercially in a changing and increasingly uncertain policy environment.
On any given day you could be researching and drafting a policy positioning paper for a client, briefing a client for a meeting with government, being part of a team conducting political and regulatory due diligence on a particular sector, or advising on the policy and regulatory environment impacting M&A deals. We do a wide range of work at Flint, no day is the same, and you will have a chance to broaden your knowledge and skill set.
The role provides early career professionals with the chance to research and analyse the complex policy challenges our clients face, and develop options and approaches to address those challenges, backing up recommendations with wider strategic and political analysis.
You will work alongside colleagues from a range of backgrounds and areas of expertise, which offers a great opportunity for professional development. There will be space to engage in discussion and debates on substantive policy and political challenges, as well as significant scope for progression through the company.
More broadly, you will contribute directly to the growth of our business, generating the ideas that make a difference, both for our clients and for Flint.

What We Do
We help our clients succeed in an increasingly complex world by providing advice at the point where government and business meet, with an authoritative perspective on both. Members of our expert multi-national team have worked at very senior levels in the British and other European governments, the EU Commission, regulatory agencies, competition bodies and the private sector. We support companies facing the challenges of political, regulatory and policy change. This includes political and economic management of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions; the design and delivery of efficient regulatory regimes; and how to maximise the value of investor assets. Our clients come from many countries and operate in many sectors, including digital, tech, telecoms, media, financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, retail, transport and energy. Drawing on deep understanding of the issues and the processes of decision making, we craft evidence-based arguments, concrete policy proposals and practical engagement plans to help them achieve their commercial goals.
