This is an exciting opportunity join the Insights Division, Kantar Malaysia, working with a team of passionate brand builders to build significant impact on our client’s businesses. You will lead a strong team to deliver successful Brand Growth Programs and connect various data sources to deliver important insights and stories. As a key interface between Kantar and our clients, the role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation of presentations and reports.

As an emerging leader, you will get to hone your leadership skills by learning how to elevate the skills of your team members, lead resources effectively and develop the careers of your line reports. You will also support the implementation of broader business initiatives sought at redefining the way we work and deepening the domain knowledge of the wider team.

Role Description

The primary responsibility of the Consultant is to manage accounts on a day-to-day basis and effectively contribute to the efficiency of the business unit. The Consultant is also responsible for creating meaningful impact on our client’s businesses and as a key interface between Kantar and our clients.

Role Description

  • Support research studies from proposal through to analysis and reporting.
  • Build positive relationships with key clients on day-to-day basis, and lead study debriefs.
  • Work/Lead Associates and Senior Associates to ensure quality and timely delivery and help train new members to the team.
  • Help other team members to ensure projects are set up accurately, ensuring best practices are adhered to and teaching methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency, while helping them to ensure they understand the key elements of research and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the solution strategy by leading a project crafted to increase efficiencies, automation, and quality of output.

Role Requirements

  • At least 5 years validated experience in a research/consumer insights space.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communicator, presenter, and influencer
  • Desire to challenge the status quo, able to see new ways of doing things and develop action plans to inspire change and achieve strategic goals.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to understand sophisticated methodological concepts and explain these to others.
