We are looking for a highly motivated Consultant to join our dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of EHS management systems, water and waste management, and sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong data and digital skills, contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable solutions for our clients.

As an EHS Consultant, you will work on a diverse range of technical and strategic projects, including EHS audits, EHS/ESG due diligence, ESG strategy development, decarbonization, water stewardship, and digital implementation for ESG performance management. You will also play an integral role in delivering environment, health, and safety compliance audits for major global corporations.

This is a client-facing role where you will be involved in compliance audits, due diligence, and advisory services in the areas of EHS, ESG, and Environmental Due Diligence. Strong communication and writing skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Sustainable Operations projects in the field of EHS Management Systems, Audits, Decarbonization and Digital Enablement for ESG Performance Management 
  • Play a key role in the successful delivery of EHS and ESG projects by providing consultancy services across a wide range of industries.
  • Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely and high-quality project outcomes.
  • Assist in conducting ESG assessments for clients, analyzing exposure, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support EHS audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in EHS practices and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Support ESG Transformation projects, including developing GHG inventories, defining water baseline studies and conducting waste management studies
  • Contribute to the development of ESG and Decarbonisation strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of project documentation, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret sustainability-related data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Assist in the development of data-driven recommendations for clients to enhance sustainability performance.
  • Support the creation of data visualizations and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continually learn and stay up to date with evolving ESG standards, frameworks, and reporting requirements.  

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Chemical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in consulting, with familiarity in environmental and/or health and safety advisory services.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility, with a strong ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of ESG and sustainability frameworks, greenhouse gas inventories, and familiarization with the principles of a water stewardship.
  • Exposure of working with advanced data analytics tools and digital platforms to collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability-related data.
  • Exposure to ISO Management Systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14064; would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills Required
