Role Description:

Consultant/ Senior Consultant (Mumbai)

Handle project execution/ delivery through research, analysis, and report preparation while engaging with senior clients and facilitating workshops or training. Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives, leveraging strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely project outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Communication

• Engage with CXOs, senior client personnel, and mid-level executives; facilitate interviews, workshops, focus groups, and training sessions while ensuring alignment of expectations and deliverables.
  

2. IT & Digital Banking Strategy Support

• Contribute to IT and digital banking roadmaps, transformation programs, supplier selection, and strategy documents; conduct market research, benchmarking, and business case/ROI analysis.
  

3. Program & Project Management Assistance

• Support project execution end-to-end, tracking scope, milestones, risks, timelines, and budgets; assist agile, DevOps, and digital transformation initiatives and prepare executive dashboards/reports.
  

4. Data Analysis & Process Improvement

• Analyze workflows, technology architectures, and operations to identify efficiency improvements; leverage analytics and data-driven insights for process automation, API integration, and KPI definition.
  

5. Documentation & Deliverable Creation

• Develop presentations, whitepapers, functional specs, interim/final reports, and other client deliverables; ensure clear communication using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Cedar’s proprietary tools.
  

6. Vendor & Team Collaboration

• Support vendor evaluation, RFPs, PoCs, and technology implementation; collaborate within the consulting team, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and support thought leadership and business development activities.
  

Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier B-School
  
• 3–8 years of relevant work experience in BFSI, FinTech, or financial services.
  
• Excellent academic pedigree and consistent strong performance.
  
• Good understanding of financial services and the financial technology landscape.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Passion for knowledge and adding value to client engagements.
  
• Willingness and enthusiasm for international travel.
  
• PMP, Prince2, CSM/ CSPO or Six Sigma certifications would be an advantage.
