WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORANT TO US

You will be part of a team of more than 20 consultants across EMEA. In the role as Presales Consultant, you will work closely with the Sales and Customer Success Management teams to understand the needs and requirements of prospective clients. You will provide high quality demos, workshops and PoCs (proof of concept) in the Portfolio Management and Trading domain and convey the power of our solutions and services. You will be reporting to the Vice President - Value Advisory (Presales) in SimCorp EMEA.

WHAT YOU WILL BE REPONSIBLE FOR

  • Analyzing the workflows and business requirements of prospective clients and translating these into SimCorp solutions 
  • Mapping requests from prospective clients with the product and services offered by SimCorp
  • Providing high quality responses to RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (request for proposal) in the presales process
  • Contributing to and delivering SimCorp Dimension presentations, demos, workshops, and PoCs
  • Effectively communicating the benefits and value of SimCorp's solutions 
  • Obtaining a thorough understanding of SimCorp's sales model and relevant processes 
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio 
  • Sharing expertise in overall functionalities of the solution 

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Experience in a role as Analyst, Consultant, Presales or similar role in the financial services industry, financial industry, consulting firm or solution provider
  • Domain expertise in two of the following areas: Financial instruments incl. derivatives, Trading/Execution, Portfolio Management, Fund Management, Asset Allocation, Performance, Risk Management
  • Good presentation skills and experience in preparing presentations for external or internal clients
  • Very good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Methodical and analytical approach
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) 
  • Flexibility to travel within EMEA from time to time (approx. 5 days/month)
