About the Role

This role is designed for individuals interested in building a career at the intersection of law, regulatory compliance, data analytics, and technology. You will support, coordinate, and participate in document reviews, compliance projects, and data analysis under the guidance of senior team members. In addition to traditional workflows, you will assist in data categorization, semantic modeling, and quality assurance processes.

What You’ll Do

Project Support & Execution

  • Technical Execution: Execute hands-on tasks to support corporate or law firm client mandates.

  • Project Management Mind-set: Maintain an exceptionally rigorous and patient mindset to spot minor errors, data anomalies, or potential risks during routine processing and review tasks.

Compliance Research & Analysis

  • Information Synthesis: Gather, organize, and synthesize data from multiple public and professional sources to generate reports for analytical workflows. Assist in generating high-quality reference data to optimize various data classification pipelines.

  • Project Support: Support senior team members in conducting compliance assessments by analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and industry policies.

  • Data Analytics: Use various tools to sort, clean, and analyze various datasets to support ongoing investigation or compliance research workflows.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. 

    • Advanced degrees such as Master’s, LLM, JD, or PhD are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Prior internships or training exposure to data privacy, or document review environments is a plus.

    • Familiarity with corporate compliance frameworks, internal investigations, regulatory risk management, and corporate governance principles—including anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC), export controls, and sanction regimes—is highly regarded. Additional experience navigating banking regulations, data privacy, cybersecurity standards, or emerging AI governance frameworks is a significant plus.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to client sites and internal offices as project demands require.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to distill complex data or concepts into clear, simple verbal and written insights.

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency with Windows environments and Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, and basic data manipulation).

  • Adaptability: Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and work flexibly across diverse teams under tight, client-driven deadlines.
