As a Consulting Associate Director within our Dutch Public Sector (DPS) team, you will play a pivotal role in advising senior leaders on their most pressing challenges. You will leverage Gartner's industry-leading insights to guide clients in the Dutch public and semi-public sector, helping them translate complex digital strategies into transformational actions.
This role is a blend of strategic oversight, hands-on delivery, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact engagements, and acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives. A key part of your responsibilities will involve stakeholder management and building value-added relationships. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to our growth by supporting the Managing Partners with commercial activities and business development to achieve our goals.
As a Consulting Associate Director in our Dutch Public Sector (DPS) team, you will:
Advise senior leaders in the Dutch public and semi-public sector on digital strategy and transformation.
Lead project teams and ensure successful delivery of consulting engagements.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, building long-term, value-driven relationships.
Support business development and commercial activities alongside Managing Partners.
Manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Proven success in management consulting, ideally within the Dutch (semi-)public sector.
Experience in problem-solving, target architecture design, or value assurance for large programs.
Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
Skills & Attributes
Fluency in Dutch is required.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
Intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking.
