Configure, monitor, and maintain electronic data transfer systems and processes. Work with data suppliers and recipients to set up data transmissions, and provide electronic data transfer (EDT) troubleshooting support.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with data suppliers/customers/third parties to configure inbound and outbound data transfers

Troubleshoot data transfer and system problems related to the EDT process

Create and maintain EDT user accounts, along with other documentation, necessary for managing access and security on the EDT systems
-
Act as primary technical contact for data suppliers and internal staff regarding EDT processes and policies

Regularly report on the status of emergent/ongoing issues

Work with team to identify systemic problems and to plan future repairs and enhancements

Participate in Lean process improvement activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience working with various data transfer protocols: SFTP, HTTPS, etc.

Highly organized and able to manage high volume of support desk requests
-
Ability to use Windows command-line interface to work on both internal and external systems
-
Familiarity with Linux navigation and basic commands
-
Knowledge of enterprise PGP software and several third-party data transfer clients (WS-FTP, MOVEit, Rebex)
-
Understanding of LAN and WAN networking and data transfer concepts
-
Understanding of HIPAA and security requirements involved in electronic data transfer
-
Aptitude for technical concepts and good problem solving skills

Ability to quickly learn new software and processes

Excellent written communication skills

Customer service/support or help desk experience

Able to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
