The Role
Coordinate the complete speaker journey, from identifying diverse global leaders and managing invitations to briefings and follow-up. Curate event sessions, maintain speaker databases and website updates, support communications and content creation, and strengthen community speakers’ presentation skills. The role also helps shape event narratives, connect global topics, promote speaker knowledge across media, support frontline representation, and nurture strategic partnerships.
Summary Generated by Built In

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF)’s  Speakers Engagement Coordinator will support the GLF Partnership & Engagement Coordinator in identifying and reaching out to strategic partners, donors, sponsors, and governments, as well as inspiring community leaders, activists, artists, and other individuals who could potentially become GLF speakers. This role will also contribute to the events’ overall narratives, as plenary speakers heavily influence the conference’s tone and outcomes. Reflecting on GLF’s core themes, the successful candidate will help define the most relevant topics for discussion and thus identify the best-suited speakers to address them, ensuring diverse representation across gender, region, and knowledge systems. Key responsibilities include(but are not limited to) identifying speakers, co-designing sessions, overseeing invitations, confirmations, event briefings, and event follow-up processes.

Additionally, this role will identify strategic opportunities to promote the knowledge held by speakers through different media and mediums, thereby achieving content longevity.  The selected candidate will also support strengthening the speaking skills of the local and community actors whom GLF works with (GLFx Chapters, Youth, and Restoration Stewards).
