We are looking for a Consultant FS‑CM who will support our Claims Management team in delivering enhancements, features, and improvements for customers working with SAP FS‑CM. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, shape solutions, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our Claims Management offerings. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving real customer challenges and shaping practical, high‑impact solutions.

About the role

In this role, you will collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support the delivery of SAP FS‑CM functionalities. You will help translate business needs into clear specifications, contribute to implementation projects, and play a key part in refining our Claims Management solution capabilities. You will also support testing, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement across the full implementation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and identify improvement opportunities for SAP FS‑CM.
  • Contribute to the design of FS‑CM core features and related SAP for Insurance modules.
  • Translate requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support project teams during implementation, testing, and rollout activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure functional consistency and solution quality.
  • Help prioritize tasks and maintain clarity on scope and deliverables across sprints or project phases.
  • Assist in analyzing production issues and provide guidance during resolution.
  • Contribute to improving documentation and knowledge assets for Claims Management.

Job location

This role is based in Germany. SAP Fioneer is a remote-friendly company, offering flexibility to work from home or from one of our offices in Munich, Berlin, or Walldorf — or a combination of both.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Consultant, Product Owner, or similar role within the SAP insurance ecosystem, ideally with a strong focus on SAP FS‑CM.
  • Experience working on multiple FS‑CM implementation projects and a solid understanding of insurance processes.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into practical solution designs.
  • Hands‑on experience with agile methods and collaborative delivery models.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with international and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and documentation skills, paired with a willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
  • Experience across different lines of insurance business.
