The Ancillary Benefit Management (ABM) program is looking for an Operations resource to support the ABM business post implementation as the product and client portfolio continue to expand. This resource would also support implementation readiness activities leading the development and organization of materials needed to support the new Delivery Assurance process. This resource will help ensure the ABM implementation team has the needed workflows, processes and documentation to engage quickly in implementations with an aggressive 2026 pipeline. This role would support existing and future program solutions, ensuring operational efficiencies between the clients, vendor partners, and internal Optum business and technical teams with one of the primary key initiatives to drive the efforts related to developing and optimizing a more robust and mature production support model.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and organization of materials for Delivery Assurance
- Work cross functionally across the businesses (legal, finance, product, ops etc.) to gather key pricing and implementation deliverable items for Delivery Assurance
- Support efforts to define and stand-up an optimized Production Support model levering the new SF platform including identifying platform configuration opportunities, staffing requirements, SLAs, process flows etc.
- Liaise with IT, Finance, Data Analysts and business partners to integrate and align joint processes, dashboards, reports etc.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, generating reports and identifying opportunities for cost-saving improvements
- Support development of operational and SLA reporting
- Workflow documentation of key operational processes, policies, and procedures
- Support development of operational dashboard to support solution monitoring and performance
- Work with Client Managers to support operational processes for client post go-live
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of operations experience with an emphasis in standing up new platforms and processes
- 3+ years of healthcare experience
- 3+ years of Healthcare Business Operations and/or management consulting experience
- 2+ years of Project management skills - solid project tracking, presentation, and reporting skills
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization with multiple workstreams
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Proven excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to lead with an eye towards create and innovative solutions
- Proven eagerness to engage in and learn about a new product portfolio with a suite of solutions related to lab, durable medical equipment and radiology benefit management
