BACKGROUND
Yayasan Save the Children Indonesia is the world’s top independent charity for children in need. Since 1919, we have been fighting for children’s rights, saving their lives and providing hope for brighter futures worldwide. As an independent organization that manages fundings from many donors, it is required that SCIDN to provide reliable donor reports especially financial report. In addition, the grant unit is most of the time working directly with program unit, such as assisting the documents collection that required by donor and also assisting the office to do the payment request review for some field offices. Beside that, organization is currently transitioning to the new ERP that affect the load of work of the existing personnels. This position will be flexible not limited for all grant related tasks only, but finance department in general under supervision of Grant Finance Manager. To achieve this goal, we need additional personnel that focusing on this request. We need a technical support staff to assist the national office operations to support the day to day operations in the national office.
OBJECTIVES
This position will be mainly assigned to support Grant Finance Unit.
1. As main person to collect and review the financial supporting documents for several projects (UN Women funded project, Humanitarian Projects, HKDRF & DRA Projects, and NTT response).
2. Review payment requests under Humanitarian Portfolio project.
3. Review monthly financial report from implementing partners for SoFs under Humanitarian Portfolio (include financial supporting documents).
EXPECTED OUTPUT/DELIVERABLES
The expected outputs of this position are:
- The financial documents under UN Women funded project, Humanitarian Projects are well collected and reviewed in accordance with the STC's policy.
- The financial documents required by external auditor for audit related to HKDRF and DRA projects are collected, reviewed and submitted to auditor.
- The support to review the payment requests under Humanitarian Project and NTT Response are well delivered to support the operations of the project.
- The monthly financial settlements from implementing partners under Humanitarian project are well reviewed and coordinated with implementing partners.
