About Our Institutional Partnerships Team
At Frontiers, our Institutional Partnerships team is at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry: championing open access and enabling broad, meaningful collaboration with top universities, consortia, libraries, and research organizations. We are building for scale—transforming our traditional B2C strengths into a dynamic B2B strategy. Location: Flexible (France or Scandinavian region experience a plus; some travel required).

What You’ll Do
Manage and strengthen relationships with major academic consortia, universities, and research organizations.
Lead complex negotiations and secure large-scale agreements, working closely with internal teams and senior leadership.
Deliver personalized value propositions, ensuring partners fully understand the benefits of collaborating with Frontiers.
Use market intelligence and feedback from accounts and industry events to refine your approach and support product and partnership improvements.
Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless pre- and post-sales experiences.
What We’re Looking For
Consortia/key account specialist: 5+ years’ experience managing institutional or consortia relationships in scholarly publishing, STEM, or research services.
International perspective: Experience in France or Scandinavian region is a plus; APAC experience a bonus.
Experienced dealmaker: Proven track record negotiating and closing large, complex agreements.
Collaborative partner: Strong at working with internal teams and multiple stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial drive: Experience thriving in start-up, high-growth, or build-as-you-go settings.
CRM proficient: Skilled with Salesforce or HubSpot for sales and account planning.
Engaging communicator: Confident presenting, representing, and building relationships at C-level and across the research community.
Willing and able to travel as required.
