The Role:
The purpose of the position is to support the Group Consolidation & Reporting team by contributing in all key aspects of their daily responsibilities, mainly by participating to the consolidation process on a the monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. The position reports to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Participate to the monthly consolidation and reporting process:
- Ensure intercompany reconciliations
- Take responsibility for a group of countries and assist them in the area of accounting and reporting
- Review their financial reporting packages during monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Prepare IFRS and consolidation adjustments
- Prepare the reporting packages to the top management and external shareholders
- Assist in the preparation and publication of annual reports, respecting guidelines and deadlines.
- Participate in the improvement of existing reports, process and tools used in daily work.
Assistance on various projects and ad’hoc tasks:
- Acquisitions integration
- Automation reporting and financial statements
- Provides technical support and training to countries and corporate functions when needed
- Support the consolidation team by preparing specific ad-hoc analysis
- Support the audit process with external auditors
- University degree in Finance and Accounting
- External audit experience (around 4 years) completed by a consolidation experience in an international business would be an advantage.
- Exposure to IFRS within an international company
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Pro-active and adaptable
- Team player with good communication skills
- Good IT skills (Excel, Consolidation and Reporting / consolidation tools)
- English: Fluent/mother tongue in written and spoken
