Job Description:
People don't experience brands through media channels; they experience them through moments. A creator they trust. A search at exactly the right time. A conversation that stays with them.
As a Connection Planning Manager, you'll uncover the human behaviors behind those moments and transform them into integrated communication strategies that help brands stay relevant, earn attention, and drive meaningful business growth.
At dentsu Media, you'll work at the intersection of strategy, media, creativity, commerce, data, and technology, partnering with multidisciplinary specialists to solve business challenges that can't be answered by media alone. You'll influence senior clients, shape strategic thinking across the customer journey, and help some of the region's most ambitious brands build stronger, more meaningful connections with people.
If you're ready to move beyond planning campaigns and become the strategic voice clients trust, this is where you'll thrive.

What You'll DoDig beyond the brief to understand what the client is really trying to achieve, then develop connection strategies rooted in consumer, cultural, category, and business insight.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, bring a strong point of view to the room, and confidently influence decisions with clear thinking, evidence, and commercial understanding.
Bring together Strategy, Investment, Performance, Commerce, Data, Creative, and other specialists to create solutions that work across the customer journey, rather than in isolated channels.
Lead strategic workshops, presentations, and planning conversations that turn complex data and insight into simple, compelling recommendations teams and clients can act on.
Mentor planners, challenge conventional thinking, and raise the quality of strategic output while helping build a team where people are curious, confident, and ambitious.
At least 5 years of experience in Connection Planning, Media Strategy, Integrated Planning, or a similar strategic role within a media agency or related environment.
You naturally connect business objectives, consumer behavior, culture, data, and media to uncover opportunities and build strategies that create measurable impact.
You're confident influencing senior clients and stakeholders; you can simplify complexity, tell a compelling story, defend your thinking, and change minds when the evidence supports it.
You're genuinely curious about how AI, technology, creators, commerce, culture, and emerging media are changing the way people discover, experience, and choose brands.
You're ready to lead; not just through your title, but through your thinking. You enjoy developing others, challenging the status quo, and making the people and work around you better.
