Please note that this is an onsite position that is eligible for a hybrid schedule (3 days required onsite/2 days remote) after the first 90 days.

Agate Software is on the lookout for a proactive and versatile Configuration Specialist who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. As a vital part of our Operations team, you will play a key role in shaping the digital experiences of our clients, ensuring our software solutions are not only functional but also transformative. We seek a problem-solver, a technical wizard who is driven by the challenge of meeting diverse client needs and delivering high-quality outcomes. 
 

What You'll Do

  • System Configuration and Optimization: You will configure and optimize software applications to meet specific client requirements, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. 
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Act as a first responder to system issues, adeptly identifying problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability. 
  • Quality Assurance: Rigorously test and validate configurations, guaranteeing that every solution adheres to high standards and client specifications before going live. 
  • Collaboration and Support: Provide essential support to both clients and team members, sharing your technical expertise and contributing to a collaborative work environment. 
  • Documentation and Process Improvement: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness. 

What You'll Bring

  • Educational Background & Work Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of professional work experience; further education or certifications in technology or STEM-related fields is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a solid understanding of networking principles are essential. Experience with software development is highly desirable. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You are a critical thinker capable of complex problem-solving under tight deadlines, delivering innovative solutions and continuously improving our processes. 
  • Communication Abilities: Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to clearly convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across diverse teams. 
  • Adaptability and Learning: You are eager to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving tech landscape, using your knowledge to drive forward our mission of delivering top-tier digital solutions.
