Who you are:
As a Configuration Services Manager, you will engage in strategic projects to ensure that configuration services can be delivered throughout the bank. You will be responsible for facilitating configuration management audits and ensure we adhere to proper laws and regulations. More than that, this role is about providing top-quality service and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for effective configuration management
- Develop and implement configuration management processes and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Oversee the configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure the accurate representation of all configuration items affecting IT services, including hardware, software, documentation, and relationships among them.
- Conduct regular audits of the CMDB and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams, stakeholders, and other service management functions to integrate configuration management with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for configuration management, providing insights and recommendations to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage in strategic projects to ensure that configuration items are properly managed and controlled, minimizing risks and securing the integrity of the IT infrastructure and software systems that configuration services can be delivered throughout the bank
- Facilitate configuration management audits to thoroughly confirm adherence to proper laws and regulations
- Review and approve configuration data of significant IT infrastructure changes
- Chair the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and enact changes as directed by senior managers
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years related experience in hardware or ITAM
- Demonstrated experience in the configuration line of business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

- Knowledge of ServiceNOW and best practices
