Our National Security Sector is looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to join our team at March Air Reserve Base, supporting the PACAF C5ISRO II mission. Primary Responsibilities.
Lead AOC configuration and change management, ensuring compliance with Air Force and AOC Weapon System policies
Serve as the Configuration Review Board (CRB) coordinator, creating agendas, documenting outcomes, and tracking change activity
Maintain up-to-date architectural drawings, hardware/software inventories, and rack elevations
Manage the site’s media and documentation library, overseeing tracking, storage, and distribution
Support users in submitting change requests and software problem reports
Assist in broader C4I system planning and support, including integration, information assurance, and technical standards compliance
Facilitate initial and recurring training for staff on configuration procedures and tools
Collaborate with government and contractor teams to track enterprise-level change requests to completion
Basic Qualifications.
Active Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent military CM experience)
3–5 years’ experience supporting configuration management for complex systems or weapon platforms
Certification in ANSI/EIA 649-B (Configuration Management Standard)
Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with C2/Intel systems, networks, and secure environments
Preferred Qualifications.
Understanding of EIA-836 data exchange/interoperability standards
Experience with enterprise-level change tracking tools and CM documentation
