Mission:
Support of Configuration management team
The configuration manager ensures the product portfolio in the PLM system is maintained and up to date at all times. He/she will be responsible to link all necessary product documentation in the PLM system when officializing or modifying a product.
During the development and validation of the product, the necessary product baselines (configuration) needs to be registered. These baselines are linked to the development process (DDQS) defined by Thales.
He/she coordinates and monitors the execution of changes from development, verification and validation up to industrialization.
Mission Overview:
Due to the number of projects, we need reinforcements in the Configuration team. The PLM tool used is PTC's Windchill, linked to the CAD tool Creo.
- Ensure the transfer of all documents and consistency within the PLM system
- Adapt our Change Management process and ensure data is updated and properly communicated to the various departments
- Train and support users (designers, product engineers, purchasing, etc.)
- You play a fairly important role in communication with production, so it's important that your soft skills are at a high level.
Mission Objectives:
- 85% operational activities:
- Exception management in the PLM system: structural reorganization, file renaming, link creation, etc.
- Product officializations
- Product modifications
- 15% data and process flow improvements
Profile requirements:
- >5 years of professional experience in a design office or engineering team
- Experience with a PLM system, ideally Windchill
- Experience in configuration management and change management processes
- Rigorous, meticulous, and organized
- Ability to summarize and understand document management workflows
- Strong soft skills, effective communication
- Working languages: French & English
