SOSi is seeking a Configuration Manager to join a high-performing team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu, where technology meets mission impact. In this role, you'll help drive the configuration and integrity of cutting-edge network infrastructures that support secure command and control operations for more than 5,000 users across the Pacific theater.
Working alongside elite engineers and architects, you'll play a key role in maintaining complex, resilient, and scalable environments that connect hundreds of advanced embedded systems. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring enterprise-wide visibility, reliability, and operational readiness while enabling PACOM's most critical C2 strategies.
If you're passionate about governance, technical precision, and supporting next-generation defense technologies, this is your chance to make a global impact from one of the most strategic locations in the world.
Essential Job Duties:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) to ensure alignment with DoW, DISA, RMF, and program requirements.
- Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure all authorized Configuration Items (CIs) are accurately identified, documented, related, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate configuration management activities across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, projects, resources, and mission partner teams.
- Identify, control, and maintain hardware, software, firmware, virtual assets, documentation, and system dependencies as Configuration Items (CIs).
- Evaluate configuration management processes and recommend improvements that enhance operational effectiveness, audit readiness, cybersecurity posture, and data integrity.
- Analyze configuration discrepancies, unauthorized changes, and audit findings; develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate operational risk.
- Design, develop, and maintain CMDB architecture, data models, discovery processes, and automated asset reconciliation capabilities.
- Ensure CMDB accuracy through continuous validation, data quality reviews, and integration with enterprise service management and asset management tools.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct functional and physical configuration audits to verify compliance with approved baselines, security controls, and operational requirements.
- Chair and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings; review, assess, and adjudicate configuration change requests in support of program objectives and mission requirements.
- Review engineering change proposals, system modifications, technology refresh initiatives, and operational changes to ensure impact assessments and approvals are completed prior to implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation repositories and configuration records, ensuring system documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures remain current and aligned with approved baselines.
- Develop and deliver Configuration Management training, guidance, and awareness programs to ensure personnel understand CM policies, processes, tools, and governance requirements.
- Generate configuration management reports, dashboard metrics, audit artifacts, and executive-level briefings to support program management, operational decision-making, and compliance requirements.
- Support system engineering, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and lifecycle management activities by ensuring configuration control is maintained across all environments.
- Monitor operational environments and collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and systems teams to assess configuration compliance, performance trends, and operational impacts.
- Support the implementation, assessment, demonstration, and sustainment of new and existing capabilities, including technical analyses, operational evaluations, and stakeholder briefings.
- Ensure configuration management activities support RMF authorization efforts, cybersecurity compliance audits, vulnerability remediation initiatives, and continuous monitoring requirements.
- Analyze, develop, document, integrate, implement, operate, evaluate, maintain, and improve capabilities in accordance with Government requirements and program objectives.
- Support DevSecOps and Agile development efforts by maintaining configuration control across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders, mission partners, program leadership, and technical teams to collect, document, and communicate configuration status, risks, and change activities.
- Prepare and submit configuration management status reports, metrics, Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), and other required program deliverables in support of contract and Government reporting requirements.
