In order to support the Eurofighter Simulation Programs, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Configuration Manager and Data Manager (CM & DM) (d/f/m)Eurofighter Typhoon is the world’s most advanced swing-role combat aircraft, providing simultaneously deployable Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface capabilities. Airbus is acting as the main contractor within the industrial Pilot Synthetic Training System consortium. The Combat Training Systems department develops state-of-the-art Eurofighter (EF) simulator systems. Long-term, multinational, large-scale system-of-systems programs provide the best environment to learn and perform engineering activities.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Manage and maintain configuration baselines for documentation, hardware, and software components
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements in configuration management processes
Develop and update project document templates
Oversee documentation management, including storage, release, distribution, and archiving of documents and data (SVN), and manage process tools in EF projects (JIRA/Confluence)
Support the integration of the complete Product Structure into PDM
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on configuration, data requirements, and change control
Create and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and Data Management Plans (DMP), ensuring adherence to established processes
Assist in developing and maintaining the Product Breakdown Structure (PBS)
Verify and facilitate data exchange between industry and customer database systems with different configurations
Conduct configuration verification and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Desired skills and qualifications
University degree in Engineering or in a relevant field; Or, a comparable qualification
Proven experience in configuration and data management, ideally in training and flight simulation
Familiarity with Eurofighter programs and simulators is an advantage
Knowledge of configuration and data management tools and principles (minimum 1 year of experience)
Proficiency in Atlassian Tools, Subversion, and Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in written and spoken English; German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus
