We are looking for a Configuration Management Engineer who is going to take role in configuration management in R&D Turkey.
What are my responsibilities?
- Manage Huawei Turkey R&D software project repositories and tools to ensure the integrity, timing, correctness, and security of the deliverables
- Train software project teams for configuration management process, and tools
- Execute configuration management process in software projects and solve related problems (tool, system, cloud, proxy issues, etc.)
- Prepare a configuration management plan for software projects
- Audit software project teams based on the configuration management plan and standards
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree from a university
- Working knowledge in Git, SVN or other source code management tools
- Solid understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile, Scrum framework
- Experience in working with issue tracking tools like JIRA, collaboration tools like Confluence
- Experience in Configuration Management / Release Engineering is a plus
- Experience in CI / CD, Jenkins / Gitlab-CI, cloud, container technologies and monitoring tools is a plus
- Jira, Confluence, Gitlab administration experience is a plus
- Linux and Unix (Install Servers/Applications) knowledge is a plus
What else do I need to know?
- Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement
- No restriction for travelling abroad
