POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Configuration Management Change Leader II is to manage change requests from initiation through review and approval. This individual will lead change assessments, including identifying all affected items and datasets in addition to the impacts related to cost, key implementation factors, schedule, risk, customers, supply chain and all site impacts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Organize, communicate and control investigations and change requests into potential changes.
  • Ensure the analysis and execution of the change process is conducted in accordance with applicable process controls.
  • Confirm change requests have been reviewed by all impacted resource areas and an agreed upon solution has been properly documented.
  • Verify the total scope of each change has been disclosed and its impact on all business operations are understood and costed.
  • Drive decisions on part re-identification and inventory disposition for change requests/notifications.
  • Work with change owners to complete a change assessment, identifying all ramifications of the proposed change including cost and key implementation factors.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to establish business decisions on what changes to pursue and determine prioritization of implementation.
  • Collaborate with customer representatives when required to guarantee adequate information is available for customer review and approval.
  • Ensure adherence to all process protocols and prevent any unauthorized or uncommunicated changes from being processed.
  • Continuously improve the change process so it can be used as a competitive advantage.
  • Develop processes for efficient and effective change documentation and execution of change in the ERP/PLM systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Maintaining high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.
  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Program Management, or Quality or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering or program management role.
  • Proficient in CT+ and OBIEE.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

WHAT WILL HELP

  • CM2-C certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or program management role.
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with product launch, manufacturing, engineering and quality.
  • Proficient in Oracle EBS.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Be a motivated team player with a high level of customer service.
  • Be able to work well independently and collaboratively with colleagues from other departments.
  • Be a humble learner and driven to excel.
