T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Configuration Management Analyst to support of a secure DOD customer located in Ogden, UT. The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting record.
  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
  • Coordinate modification records for management control.
  • Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
  • Maintain and enforce configuration management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the baseline using automated Configuration Management tools.
  • Track and maintain the project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and change notices continuously.
  • Attend customer meetings, kick-off meetings, configuration meetings, and production meetings as needed.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are implemented and review changes to accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
  • Demonstrated experience with such concepts as virtualization, storage, networking, cloud computing, and CMDB
  • Basic knowledge of software licensing concepts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field with 2-4 years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret clearance or be eligible for a Secret clearance
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
  • Configuration Management Software Process familiarization.
  • Must possess a strong proficiency with Data Management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Identity and Access Management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Configuration Management Software Tools.
  • Strong Communication and Coordination Skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows base applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)..
  • Experience working in a data center environment
  • ITIL experience/certification
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

  • Security+ certification

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $98,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
