Responsible for the configuration management of operational networks and systems to create and maintain configuration baseline inventories, listings, diagrams, and topologies. Track changes to the configuration and ensure that the configuration remains aligned with organizational standards, contract deliverables, and AFI 63-101. Develop reports based on the configuration baseline.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of various systems from initial requirement and capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
- Perform change control and configuration audits.
- Ability to process CDRLs in accordance with contract PWS and applicable industry standards.
- Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures, and ensuring they are followed on hardware and software development projects.
- Continuously develop existing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures
- Understand basic concepts and assist in managing, maintaining, and developing the CM environment process and procedures, such as creating product listings, diagrams, etc.
- Develop working relationships with various stakeholders to incorporate relevant changes to the operational baseline.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in support of a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma with a minimum 2 years of relevant technical training, certifications or equivalent combination technical and military experience.
- Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II eligibility; must have active CompTIA Sec+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Certified International Configuration Manager (CMTF)
- Proficiency in using the MS Office suite to generate reports, track matrices, and create briefs.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of success in a 24/7 team environment, interacting with all levels of program leadership, customers, and other agencies.
- Must possess advanced understanding of computers/peripherals and operating systems.
- Must be self-directed and able to establish and meet project guidelines/timelines.
- Must possess and maintain TS/SCI clearance; applicants must provide necessary information for determining eligibility with the DoD Adjudication Facility
- Must have an active Top-Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum 4 years of relevant technical training, certifications, and work experience.
- Experience maintaining and managing C4ISR networks, systems, and applications across multiple classification domains.
- Experience in managing diverse networks, systems, hardware, and applications, with a strong understanding of network topology, standards, and hardening practices.
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once, leveraging strong organizational and leadership skills.
- ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
