Position Purpose:
This position will perform duties related to the coordination and development of the resource area for conferences and events, including merchandising, marketing displays, and the operation and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system, supervision of the cashier team, and oversight of all related handling procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Represent Andrew Wommack and the heart of the Ministry with a spirit of excellence to all guests
- Create AWM Product orders for all home conferences and Andrew’s speaking engagements
- Manage Point of Sale system
- Coordinate all department and ministry booths for home events
- Design the correct space and table displays for all relevant resources and merchandizing items at the conference/venue
- Oversee volunteers in the Resource area
- Ensure and supervise compliance with correct cash handling procedures within the resource area.
- Function as a Cashier as needed during events
- Provide post-event reports from the POS to appropriate departments
- Track resource sales, innovate, and make recommendations for further improvements
- Create price lists and ensure accuracy of signage at events
- Attend and schedule office meetings as necessary
- Complete office administrative duties as necessary to complete all tasks associated with this position
- Design floor plans for the Booths and Resource Area at each home event
- Oversee all conference audio/video duplication needs
- Work with Special Guest Services for the needs of the Guest Minister tables
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accurately make change with U.S. currency.
- Must be able to follow directions effectively.
- Must be able to lift 35lbs.
- Working on own initiative and as a team player.
- Being able to work well in busy situations and on short timescales to complete set tasks.
- Good organizational skills to bring systems and processes into line with AWM guidelines.
- Strong mental math skills.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer service-oriented.
- Must be able to follow directions effectively.
- Must be able to travel out of town as needed.
- Must be able to work long days during events.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
- Any related Conference and Events experience is preferred.
- Customer Service and Guest Experience work experience is preferred.
- Cashier experience is preferred.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
