As a Condition Monitoring Analyst (CMA), you will interpret multiple data sources, create actionable recommendations, and partner with customers to improve reliability and efficiency.Job Description:
- Review and interpret condition monitoring data to diagnose failure modes.
- Communicate equipment condition to customers and Finning personnel to initiate preventive actions.
- Ensure customer processes are in place to act on recommendations.
- Follow up on previous recommendations to confirm resolution and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide fleet-level recommendations to reduce costs and improve operator behavior.
- Participate in projects to enhance condition monitoring processes.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Analyze data from fluid analysis, inspections, telematics, and repair history.
- Create and prioritize maintenance recommendations.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
- Track and follow up on recommendations to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate on projects aimed at improving monitoring tools and workflows.
Requirements:
- Heavy Duty Mechanic, Mechanical or Mining Engineering degree, or equivalent education.
- 5+ years of mechanical experience; service experience at Finning or another Caterpillar dealer preferred.
- Strong understanding of equipment systems (engines, powertrain, hydraulics, electronics).
- Ability to interpret technical data and correlate multiple data sources.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer service focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with computer programs such as MS Office suite including Excel with the ability to learn evolving monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of condition monitoring tools, IIoT, and fluid analysis interpretation considered an asset.

- Based out of our West Edmonton office location.
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Monday – Friday, 5x2 shift.
