The Global Concur Administrator provides a broad level of technical and administrative support to drive the stabilization, standardization and optimization of Concur Expense, Smith and Nephew global expense reporting tool. This role leads efforts in ensuring that Concur Expense functionality meets the requirements of Smith and Nephew global user base, which spans 40 countries and over 19,000 users from all levels. This role will collaborate with SAP Concur Developers and global internal teams to investigate and provide timely resolution to technical or functional issues with Concur, to improve and simplify functionality wherever possible, and to support efforts to improve overall user experience. The Global Concur Administrator will serve as a subject matter expert on Concur expense platform and Global Travel and Expense Policy.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for technical and functional support issues identified by country leads, users or other stakeholder groups.
- Work with stakeholders to translate their needs to technical requirements, driving towards standardization and minimal complexity where possible.
- Work with Concur Developers to test and implement system changes or enhancements.
- Manage and drive Level 3 Support Cases with Concur Support Admin and internal teams within defined SLA.
- Provide training on system functionality to users and team as needed.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues within the system, driving towards root cause solutions to prevent future issues.
- Ensure proper localization (languages) in place for all key areas within Concur.
- Perform periodic monitoring session (defined in SOP) for Concur expense lists, Travel allowances, Audit rules.
- Provide support on Concur system connection with other systems.
- Provide VIP support for C-Suite, Board of Directors and associated administrative assistants with Concur issues.
- Support international assignees with data or system issues when required.
- Assign and update Concur system roles on a yearly basis.

Project Support:
- Support ongoing initiatives to standardize, stabilize and expand Concur Expense globally.
- Provide testing and implementation support for additional improvement projects in the areas of potential enhanced functionality, VAT outsourcing, Travel and Expense Policy implementation, Auditing, Concur Help Desk scripts, and other Travel and Expense related processes.
- Coordinate efforts on global initiatives with other platform technical experts when required.

What will you need to be successful?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems, business or finance required.

Certifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience with Concur expense system - Admin module preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Global Travel and Expense policies and procedures

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Global Projects for different regions

Languages:

  • Advanced English

Knowledge:

  • SAP Concur

  • MS Access or database tools

  • Concur Detect
