About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Computer Vision Expert to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced visual intelligence systems. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing algorithms that enable machines to interpret, understand, and process visual data at scale. This role requires deep technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for applying computer vision to real-world problems.
This is a full-time position that will be remote to start, with the expectation of transitioning to our Israel office once it's open.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, recognition, and pose estimation.
- Develop and deploy deep learning models using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Work with large-scale datasets to train, evaluate, and fine-tune models for accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to integrate vision systems into production environments.
- Research and stay current with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
- Conduct experiments to benchmark models and evaluate new architectures and training strategies.
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency on edge devices or in cloud environments.
- Document and communicate findings, methodologies, and best practices across the team.
- Work on cutting-edge computer vision and AI applications with real-world impact.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a focus on Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and one or more deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Deep understanding of CNNs, Vision Transformers, and modern architectures for image/video analysis.
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation workflows.
- Familiarity with GPU programming and model optimization.
- Background in deploying vision models on edge or mobile devices - advantage.
Contributions to open-source vision libraries or publications in top-tier conferences. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a focus on innovation and practical application.
