In our group, we research, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art lidar perception and deep learning technologies to achieve world-class performance, enabling the safe development of Autonomous Driving features and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. We are looking for a passionate engineer with strong expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and large-scale data-driven algorithm development.
What will your job look like:
- Research, design, develop, and implement advanced lidar-based perception algorithms using state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision techniques
- Develop, train, and optimize deep neural networks for challenging 3D perception tasks such as detection, classification, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding
- Evaluate existing models and architectures, investigate emerging deep learning methodologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve accuracy, robustness, and computational efficiency
- Analyze and validate algorithms on large-scale real-world datasets collected by Mobileye vehicles worldwide
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, create data-driven solutions, and deploy production-ready models
- Optimize deep learning models and classical algorithms for scalability, runtime performance, and deployment on embedded automotive platforms
- Stay at the forefront of advances in deep learning, computer vision, and autonomous driving research, and drive their adoption into production systems
All you need is:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing deep learning and computer vision algorithms
- Strong practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience developing, training, evaluating, and optimizing neural networks for computer vision or 3D perception applications
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning fundamentals, optimization, and statistical analysis
- Solid programming skills in Python; experience with C++ is an advantage
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and transform research ideas into production-quality solutions
- Independence, creativity, and a proactive approach
- Experience with lidar, 3D perception, autonomous driving, or the automotive industry is a strong advantage
