Building solutions for a better life. The Bosch Building Technologies division is a leading international provider of systems, solutions and services that increase the safety of people, buildings and property and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
- International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Computer Vision Architect Intelligent Analytics, you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
- Your tasks as a Computer Vision Architect are varied and focus on the strategic design and implementation of software architectures that drive the development of embedded systems, in particular the integration of multimodal sensor data and advanced analytics.
- You will keep updated on the latest trends in computer vision, such as Generative AI (GenAI), and the exploration of its applications.
- You analyse new product features in the context of existing software components, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- You define and implement the Architectural Runway with a focus on embedded software and the overall analytics system to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Hands-on collaboration with key enablers, working with the teams responsible for the functions to develop the architecture for the introduction of innovative solutions.
- Last but not least, you will be responsible for implementing continuous delivery and integration and ensuring efficient deployment and integration.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience and Knowledge: many years of professional experience in software architecture for embedded and sensor-controlled systems, algorithmic expertise in signal processing for multiple modalities
(e.g. computer vision) to realise end-to-end product development; programming skills in relevant languages and environments; mastery of machine learning, with a strong understanding of its applications and methods - Personality and Working Practice: Team player, able to work effectively with diverse teams
- Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
