Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing software applications. This role also includes providing training and support to end users. Additionally, assists users in understanding clinical and business workflows, defining functional requirements, conveying these requirements to colleagues involved in software design and configuration, executing test scripts and user acceptance testing, and providing software support services.Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions
-Support and educate users on the use of applications. Prepare end-user training materials.
-Reviews system requirements and business processes; tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
-Document and analyze business processes and workflows to drive business process improvements and ensure accurate system configuration. Where possible, identify opportunities for process improvement.
-Understand user requirements; translate these into functional requirements and assist user with submission for software updates.
-Develop and execute user acceptance testing plans, including creation of test cases.
-Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.
-Assist in identifying and recommending leading practices for business analysis, training, and end-user support functions.
-Trains end users on the operation of software applications and develops end-user documentation.
-Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues.

Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Experience in information technology, working with business or clinical systems 2-3 years required and Experience providing training and support to end-users 1-2 years required and Epic Certification requirement(s) as appropriate by job focus 1-2 years preferred and Experience in information technology, working with business or clinical systems. Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications. 3-5 years required
