Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Computer Operations Analyst – Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) (24-136) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the JEMINI O&S Leadership and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the multi-classified domain C2BMC JEMINI systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
The candidate will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC JEMINI hardware, software, and networks.
Essential Functions:
- Document and report all events/issues using Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Office products to the JEMINI O&S Lead.
- Receive tasking and direction from the JEMINI O&S Leadership for all operations, tests, and real-world events.
- Assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs.
- Must have background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
- Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration could include the following (Linux, Windows, Nutanix cloud infrastructure, MDA CLAN, and DISA EM network usage).
- Must have background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components using bash/pearl scripting or Ansible.
- Experience in data flow usage and troubleshooting with DISA and MDA network connectivity is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.
- An active Top-Secret clearance is required to start.
- 2 years with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 6 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
- The candidate will maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full contract period.
- Computing Environment requirements will soon be required.
- The position requires rotating 24x7 shift work at a steady state. Candidate will be assigned to a shift and assignment to be determined by mission requirements. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of C2BMC Systems or Missile Defense Systems.

Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
