Job Description

  • Designs, develops, and implements methods which enhance, simplify, and assure operation of the Center
  • Ensures unauthorized software is no installed on the network
  • Ensures the latest drivers and other firmware are kept current with technology standards
  • Installs updates and other software mandated by Company or Department of Labor
  • Provides research and analysis for third party software purchase and hardware research
  • Makes recommendations for reallocation of resources based on the four year replacement plan
  • Schedules / coordinates repairs covered by warranty or maintenance agreement
  • Provides assistance to users to backup data on individual networks
  • Provides technical support and assistance to help desk inquiries and problems
  • Plan Of Care for any video conferencing requirements
  • Ensures staff is appropriately trained on any new or changed system software or requirements
  • Ensures all staff complete security awareness training and that records are maintained
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a four-year college or university required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training is required, and knowledge of UNIX, SQL, networking, and DOS is preferred
