The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics Consultant to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Bethesda, MD.
The Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer will provide technical support in research and development of hybrid computational fluid dynamics algorithms and engineering documentation support.
Responsibilities:
Development of hybrid algorithms for computational fluid dynamics problems important to flow-fields as boundary layers and other relevant ship/water interfaces
Development of new algorithms including hybrid classical-quantum algorithms that can be implemented and evaluated on current or near-term hardware
Provide consultation and recommendations on manuscripts and technical documentation arising from algorithm development
Presentation of the preliminary or final findings
Provide copies and records of the findings
Remote role with some travel to Bethesda, MD
Qualifications:
Required:
10 yrs with bachelor’s or other relevant educational experience.
Ph.D. in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics or related discipline.
M.S. in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics or related discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Expertise in Mathematics
Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineering experience
Development of Algorithms (classical-quantum)
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving, and organization skills
Experience demonstrated through published papers in journals or other peer reviewed literature
Experience demonstrated through teaching and/or presentations at conferences

The proposed salary range for this position is:
